The British brand Rolls-Royce, in collaboration with the Swiss watch company Bovet 1822, has created an exclusive watch for the owners of the luxurious Rolls-Royce Boat Tail model. There is a watch model for both men and women.

Rolls-Royce is a brand that creates cars exclusively for each client. As brand representatives have said more than once, the company prides itself on its craftsmanship and exclusivity. Those two features were on full display last month when the company revealed the unique Boat Tail, but Rolls’ taste for uniqueness goes far beyond the automotive industry. The automaker partnered with Swiss watchmaker Bovet 1822 to create and design a pair of watches for car owners to wear or build into the dashboard.
Bovet installed a special tourbillon designed to keep the watch accurate against vehicle vibrations, giving the watch a five-day power reserve to sit on the dashboard. The handcrafted golden Spirit of Ecstasy sits on the bridge of the tourbillon directly below the dial, which is finished in the same Caleidolegno finish as on the aft deck of the Boat Tail.
Each dial has the names of the owners, but they are not visible in the photographs. The case of the watch for men is polished to a shine, while the women’s watch is decorated with decorative engraving and accented with blue lacquer. On the back of each watch is a “Boat Tail” sculpture that matches the color of the full size car. However, each of them has its own characteristics, such as the celestial arrangement of the night sky over the man’s birthplace on his birthday, and the flower bouquet at the woman’s birthplace.
