Parasound Changed Ownership
The founder and permanent, 1981, leader of the American company Parasound, famous for its amplifiers, Richard Schram, is retiring. The company was sold to former military and entrepreneur David Sheriff. David (his photo on the right) with a huge business experience has not yet been related to the audio industry. But it is his past specialization, according to Richard Shram, that will allow Parasound to become an even more successful company in the near future.
David Sheriff has 30 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution companies and as a systems consultant. “I’m glad that David’s vision for Parasound aligns with Integrity Endures – and possibly where I would be if I hadn’t decided to retire. David is a fast learner,” Scar explained. “I am impressed with his plans to strengthen our business model and expand its current boundaries. The idea of turning Parasound into a simple trophy logo of one of the audio conglomerates was never an option for me.”
“I’m clearly not buying a bankrupt company,” David Sheriff said in turn. “Parasound’s heritage of impeccable build quality, classic design, exquisite sonic performance, and great value made this offering too good to pass up.”
Parasound’s marketing system will change under the new owner, but only slightly. The profile of the company as a whole will not change. “We will be investing in our partner network and social media platforms so that current (and future) fans can get the information they need to understand that Parasound is right for them,” added David Sheriff.
