In the movie Shazam! 2″ an actor from the series “Peacemaker” will appear
Director David F. Sandberg has hinted that the Peacemaker star is playing a new character.
Director of Shazam! 2″ David F. Sandberg has confirmed that Rizwan Manji from James Gunn’s The Peacemaker series will appear in the DC Comics Movie.
DC fans spotted on one of the frames from Shazam! 2″ of an actor resembling Rizwan Manji. In The Peacemaker, he played the funny janitor Jameel, whom Peacemaker (John Cena) met in the hospital. David F. Sandberg and James Gunn were asked on Twitter if it was really Manji. Sandberg wrote that this is really him. At the same time, Sandberg hinted that in Shazam! 2 “Manji did not play Jamil.
James Gunn jokingly added that he considers new hero Rizvan Manji to be Jamil’s more successful twin brother. Manji himself commented on the discussion with laughing emoji. Maybe in Shazam! 2″ and Jamil’s brother will appear. Or it will be the same Jamil, but his name is simply not mentioned.
In the story, Billy Batson (Asher Angel) will continue to fight evil as the superhero Shazam (Zachary Levi). The hero will perform new missions with his superhero brothers and sisters. The Shazam family will have to fight against two powerful villains – the goddesses Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Calypso (Lucy Liu). These are the daughters of Atlas. The third sister will be the heroine Rachel Zegler, but it has not yet been reported whether she will also be a villain.
Premiere of Shazam! 2″ is scheduled for December 22.
