‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ Plot Description Hints at End of Guardians Team Story.

It seems that not all heroes will survive the confrontation with the High Evolutionary.

Marvel Studios has revealed the plot details for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Part 3 by James Gunn. The final part of the trilogy will complete the story of the current line-up of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

James Gunn has already hinted that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Part 3″ will show the denouement of the Guardians’ massive storyline, led by Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). Now this is confirmed by the description of the plot. Synopsis published by Collider:

“In Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our favorite group of misfits will be a little different. Peter Quill is still reeling from the loss of Gamora [Zoe Saldana]. He must rally the team to protect the universe. The mission, if not successfully completed, could very well lead to the end of Guardian history as we know it.”

At Comic-Con 2022 in San Diego, a presentation of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Part 3, where James Gunn and the actors of the film comics revealed details about the plot. So, at the festival, it was officially confirmed that the star of “Peacemaker” Chakwudi Iwuji will play the High Evolutionary, as many Marvel fans expected. The actor arrived at Comic-Con in the form of his character and took the stage to ominous music. From the looks of it, the High Evolutionary will be the main villain. In the confrontation with him, some of the Guardians may die.

At Comic-Con, Gunn revealed that in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Part 3″ will play an important role Rocket, who will appear as “the saddest creature in the universe” . The film will tell about the past of the Rocket and about the connection of the hero with his creator – the High Evolutionary. At the same time, Peter will try to find Gamora from the past, who joined the Ravager team. Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) will also appear in the film, who can be both an ally and an enemy of the Guardians.

World premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Part 3″ is scheduled for May 5, 2023.
