Vin Diesel and his family will reach the finish line in 2025.
Vin Diesel has revealed when Fast & Furious 11 will premiere. This will be the final chapter of the iconic “fast” franchise.
In May 2023, Fast and Furious 10 will be released – it will be the first part of the big finale of the story of Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his family, which began back in 2001. The action movie will receive an open ending with a hint of the last race in Fast and Furious 11. Fans will have to wait for the denouement.
According to Collider, Vin Diesel shared details about Fast & Furious 11 at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas. At the event, the actor announced that the final chapter will be released in 2025. Diesel did not give an exact release date. Most likely, the action movie will start showing in the spring or summer – like the previous parts of the series.
In 2025, Fast & Furious will be 24 years old. Diesel noted that Fast and Furious has become the longest-running franchise starring the same actors:
Fast & Furious is now the longest-running franchise in film history with the same actors playing the same characters. Thank you [viewers] for creating us, accepting us as a global saga, and we hope you will be proud.”
In Fast & Furious 10, the Toretto family will take on a dangerous criminal named Dante, played by Jason Momoa. This is the son of Hernan Reis (Joaquin de Almeida), who died in the fifth part, who is eager to take revenge on Dominic for the death of his father. The action film was directed by Louis Leterrier (“The Transporter”), who will also direct the final 11th chapter.
Fast & Furious 10 is slated for release on May 19th.
