The housings of the BM 100 are made in the form of vertical horns.

Our proprietary digital crossover with  FIRTEC™ technology separates low and mid-frequency signals, corrects that signal, and feeds it so that it adds up to a single musical picture near the listening position.

The FPGA system makes appropriate adjustments to the signal of amplifiers connected to the speakers.

In acoustics, DMC technology is used, which fully controls the operation of the bass speakers.

The patented “DMC” system constantly monitors and controls the position of the woofer diaphragms.

Thus, the membrane accurately follows the input signal.

The movements of the diaphragms of the bass drivers and their current position are monitored by high-precision sensors.

Information from the sensors is sent to the analog controller, it compares the current position of the speaker with the characteristics of the audio signal, which at this point in time are references for the controller.

As soon as there is a difference in the reference and final signals, corrective changes are sent to the output stage, which eliminates the differences.

This technology ensures that the membranes only move as necessary to reproduce the signal.

Thus, parasitic oscillations and other errors are excluded.

The installed digital processor FIRTEC ™ provides absolute, phase-linear reproduction, without time delays and any coloration of the sound.

You can change and adjust the processor presets using a special program installed on your computer with OC, Windows XP, Vista, 7 systems.

The acoustics comes with an SD card on which all the software and acoustics digital equalizers preset and are recorded.

The BM 100s have a built-in 24-bit A/D and D/A converter (Delta-Sigma) with an oversampling rate of 192 kHz.

All these applied technologies and materials gave us an amazing result.

The most important thing is the absolutely natural transfer of music, as it was conceived by the author and recorded by the sound engineer.

The sound is neutral, clear, and musical, with a linear amplitude of the phase frequency response, down to the lowest frequencies.

Acoustics has six built-in fully balanced amplifiers, with a power of 500 watts for low frequencies, 900 watts for midrange, and 300 watts for tweeters.

Technical specifications

A software-based digital signal processor (DSP) is implemented in the newly developed electronics in FPGA design (“Field Programmable Gate Array”), which maps the mathematical model of the loudspeaker with all relevant physical properties and the correct one thousands of times every second equalization calculated. The loudspeaker consisting of chassis, housing and electronics is considered as a complete system and completely corrected. This means exact pre-regulation for the entire mid-high range without any control loop error or dead time. The AD and DA converters used are “state of the art” and cover a range in terms of performance and dynamics that is absolutely suitable for “live”.

In the bass, B&M’s own DMC™ control, which has been further developed and patented, achieves the same exact music reproduction in an analogue way as the signal processor in the upper frequency band. The combination of digital signal processing in conjunction with B&M’s own analog DMC™ control results in an exact linearization in magnitude and phase. The BMLine thus has a constant phase curve of 0°, or to put it musically: all frequencies reach the listener’s ear at the same time. The result is an unbelievably impulse-accurate reproduction in connection with an exact spatial representation of the stage and the panorama.
