BMW electric boat complete with Hans Zimmer Soundtrack

It all started with electric cars, and now it’s worth waiting for electric planes and electric ships – one of the first signs of this movement was the BMW electric boat, which, among other equipment, has a powerful audio system. The novelty was developed in collaboration with the specialized company TYDE, known for its luxury yachts.

The BMW electric boat is a small vessel with a capacity of 10-12 people on a semi-open deck under a modern canopy with integrated speakers. Perhaps external noise (especially when the battery-powered electric motors accelerate the boat to a maximum of 30 knots, about 55 kilometers per hour) interferes a little with evaluating the onboard audio. But according to a press release, it supports Dolby Atmos and provides “superb sound quality.”

Hans Zimmer

But the music will be memorable: the “soundtrack” for the BMW electric boat was written by Hans Zimmer. He is known as the composer of the music for the films The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many others. Zimmer often creates “special” music as well. For example, two years ago he voiced one of the Oppo smartphones, and a little later he wrote the anthem for the Krasnodar football club. And apparently, the maestro does not stop there.
